Ronnie has cladded two features in the front of our house and wall in Kimberley Stone on two separate occasions. He has done exceptional work, both with choosing the pieces to make the whole work and in his craftspersonship in the setting of the stone. We have been very impressed with his friendly nature, professionalism and passion for his work. He also referred us to great people to do our rendering. We would not hesitate to use Ronnie again (when I can negotiate with my husband for more stonework!) and thoroughly recommend that he is the person you use if you want quality, value for money, and most importantly a really fabulous result. Ron was fantastic and I would highly recommend him. Not only was his the best price, but he really knew his stuff and is extremely ethical and honest. We felt very safe in Ron’s hands. Being a master stonemason from England he was able to to tell exactly what grade of mortar had been used on the wall in the past and what shortcuts had caused the problem. He offered simple solutions rather than over-priced opportunistic claims of work needed.With Stonemasonry the customer is at the mercy of the tradesman in terms of not knowing how diluted their mortar is among many other issues. We didn’t have to worry with Ron because the pride he takes in his work is such that he couldn’t have done the job badly.

Couldn’t wait to post about the fantastic job Ron did with the stone on my fireplace. I was so excited to see my fireplace transform from 80’s brick to contemporary stone in just a few days. Attention to detail & a smiling face each morning with plenty of tea, Ronnie made it look easy! Literally no stone unturned as each piece was careful chosen to fit perfectly. Ron and Ross completed stonework for our braai, with the final result exceeding our expectations. Ron and Ross put their hearts into the project (literally and metaphorically), with their craftsmanship, attention to detail and passion shining through in the mosaic-type style of stonework, now a beautiful focal point in our home. There was never a dull moment having them at ours, with Ron and Ross always up for a good chat between working hard and singing and talking (loudly) at each other with their ear muffs on and power tools going, haha. The house was very quiet the day after they finished. We're grateful to have had them complete this project for us, and we’d definitely recommend them!
